加州大学欧文分校又叫做加利福尼亚大学尔湾分校。加利福尼亚大学尔湾分校建于1965年，位于加州南部，洛杉矶以南约50英里的橘郡（Orange County）的尔湾市（Irvine），是加大系统十所分校中第二年轻的校区，因为成立较晚，校风开放，十分接受新的文化和思想，使该校成为系统中成长最快的分校。该校本科在全美高校排名中并不显眼，但较强的研究实力使研究生院进入全美最佳研院行列。

For the paper-based test, a minimum score of 550

IELTS Score Requirements for Admission Consideration:

Applicants who qualify for admission by the above criteria, and also achieve a score of 8 or higher on the Speaking module may be eligible to serve as a Teaching Assistant.
