The program in public relations emphasis provides students with the opportunity to obtain a liberal arts education and equips graduates with the professional skills required for entry-level positions and careers in public relations at corporate, organizational, governmental/public affairs and non-profit institutions. The graduate with this major emphasis should possess competencies in written communication, verbal communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, and have an understanding of journalistic law and media ethics.
国际学生入学要求：
Applicants should complete a high school curriculum which includes English (4 units): English I, II, III, and IV; Math (3 units): Algebra I and II; and any math higher than Algebra II; Lab Science (2 units): Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Social Sciences (3 units): Economics, Geography, Government, History, or Foreign Language. They have rank in the top 25 percent of their graduating class with a combined SAT score of 950 (Math and Critical Reading scores only) and a composite ACT score of 20. International students must have a TOEFEL scores of at least 550 (PBT) or 213 (CBT) or 79 (IBT).
