一．Minimum Admission Requirements
University of Florida Graduate School Requirements 研究生院的要求
- GPA: B for all upper-level courses GPA达到B
- GRE: see CISE Department requirement below GRE满足系里要求
- TOEFL: 550 on paper-based; (213 on computer-based; 80 on Internet-based). The University of Florida's school code for submission of TOEFL scores is 5812. 托福至少80分，送分代码5812.
- You may substitute for TOEFL with:
- IELTS with a minimum score of 6; or 雅思可以代替托福，至少六分。
- MELAB with a minimum score of 77. MELAB 至少77分。
CISE Department Requirements 系里的要求
The majority of our accepted students have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, with an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.3/4.0. 我们要求申请的学生的背景是在计算机科学，计算机工程或是EE方面的。GPA至少3.3.
- GRE: GRE scores will be used in the context of a holistic credential review process. A strong performance is expected. For reference, prior to this year, GRE averages were Verbal: 522, Quantitative: 752, Analytical: 660, and Total: 1275 (verbal + quant). This year the averages are: 560 verbal, 760 quantitative, 680 analytical and 1320 total (verbal + quant). The University of Florida's school code for submission of GRE scores is 5812. GRE 至少1300.
- TOEFL: 600 (250 computer-based; 95 internet-based). 托福至少95分
- You may substitute for TOEFL with:
- IELTS with a minimum score of 7; or 雅思最低7分。

1. Application Deadlines

2. Pre-Evaluation
We are unable to evaluate your chances for admission, assistantships, and/or fellowships in our graduate program prior to receiving your completed application packet. Our admissions decisions are made by a committee that receives hundreds of complete applications each semester. Therefore, it is departmental policy not to give "pre-evaluations". 我们没有预审。只有资料完整后我们才会审理。
3. Beginning the Application
A. Complete the UF online application.
•CISE applicants are required to submit their statement of purpose and three letters of recommendations through the online application. DO NOT mail these documents to the department; paper copies will not be reviewed.
个人陈述和三封推荐信都要在网上完成，邮寄的材料不会被审理。
B. Report your official GRE and TOEFL scores (if applicable) electronically through ETS using school code 5812. A department code is not necessary. 及时送分，代码是5812.
C. Mail your transcripts and resume (resume optional). All application materials must be received before the application deadline. 邮寄成绩单及简历。所有的申请资料必须在截止日期前收到。邮寄地址如下：
